Heavy-lift drones deployable for emergency situations
In collaboration with CNTRL, we carried out a demonstration at the Infra Capacity Alliance (ICA). During this demonstration, we showed how effectively a heavy-lift drone can be deployed in emergency situations in the Netherlands. In this case, the focus was on transporting sandbags to flood defenses in hard-to-reach areas, such as marshlands or locations that were already partially flooded.
Efficient transport in challenging times
Accessibility during emergencies is often limited; with a heavy-lift drone, this challenge can already be overcome. Flood defenses are critical elements of our infrastructure and must remain protected and reachable. Today, this is still done using trucks, but what happens when the roads are no longer passable?
